Inventory Manager

Position: Inventory Manager
Location: Chico, California
Pay Range: $85,000 – $115,000 per year

Leads receiving, warehousing, material control, inventory accuracy, WIP movement, finished-goods control, and shipping for NERD and NEMO. The manager owns physical and transactional control of battery materials, chemicals, components, electrodes, WIP, development samples, finished cells, packaging, spares, tooling, MRO, and laboratory supplies. PLEX MES is the system of record for identity, status, location, lot/serial traceability, quantity, movement, consumption, and shipment; SAGE supports costing and financial reporting. Quality retains inspection, disposition, and final-release authority.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, business, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of inventory, warehouse, materials-management, logistics, or related experience, including at least three years of direct personnel-management experience.
• Experience maintaining perpetual inventory, WIP, lot/serial genealogy, status, location, cycle-count, physical-inventory, and reconciliation controls in an ERP or MES.
• Experience handling hazardous, moisture-sensitive, temperature-sensitive, high-value, customer-owned, or regulated materials; lithium-ion battery experience is strongly preferred.
• PLEX MES, SAGE, barcode systems, and DOT/IATA hazardous-material shipping experience or certification are preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, certification, technical training, and directly relevant experience may be considered.
